The last time I updated this blog was in 2013, over 12 years ago! - Wow how time flies. The reason I thought I would try and get back into the habit is that I am teaching Still Life painting my class this term. So I decided to re-read Carol Marines book Daily Painting: Paint Small and Often To Become a More Creative, Productive, and Successful Artist - It really inspired me to give it another go.
Give what another go? - well as an art teacher who likes to paint in his class I tend to paint most days anyway, however I remember when I first got inspired by painting a day, there was something more to it than that. Painting a small picture, uploading it to a blog, maybe listing it on ebay - felt at the time a really exciting project - it seemed to hold the promise of both selling paintings and getting better at the same time!!
Anyway - As I got into teaching I sort of lost contact with the daily painting community and the years went passed. Anyway I feel inspired to try again - upload my work on my blog and see what happens, Is there anyone still out there??
