Ipswich Visual Artists - meetup

Went to the Unitarian meeting house in Ipswich today for a meeting about running an Art Trail in Ipswich.  As I walked into town looking a the buildings covered with frost, I was struck by how much I love Ipswich town centre.  The winter sunlight and frosty air really set it off but its the buildings and my own memories of the place that make me feel so warm to the place.  At the same time it is a place that is in transition.  Long gone are the days of packed streets and weekend shopping...the mood is quieter now.

Anyway the meeting was good - exciting plans ahead from people who want see the place succeed! And nice to see some familiar faces from my Key Arts days back in 2006/7.

Should have take some better photos to illustrate my point! This was from the end of a quite lively meeting.  First time I had been in the building, it was opened in 1700! And still being used
